From the Still Life choose one object to make utilizing each building technique- coil, pinch, slab (hard or soft), solid (and then carved out). Of the resulting four objects you will utilize each of the following surface techniques: sgrafitto, stencil, inlay. Choose one object and increase the scale 3x’s larger than the original object using the building technique you deem most suitable (you will have gained a great deal of insight by doing the single object four different ways). Choose one object that you meticulously replicate. Choose one object that you simplify down to straight lines. You may make the skeleton of the object/outline of the object.
